Meet our PT Student: Katie Wallingford

Meet Katie Wallingford, a Physical Therapy student at Franklin Pierce University. Katie is on her first clinical rotation here at Back in Motion Physical Therapy, and will be spending the next few weeks following PT Mike Moras to satisfy her outpatient clinical.

When asked why she decided to become a Physical Therapist, Katie said, “I’ve always loved exercising and learning about what the body can do PT is a way for me to get to learn about what I love, and it’s so rewarding to help people.”

Katie is expected to graduate in 2020 with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. She hopes to work with athletes as a specialty as she moves forward with her career. She will attend three clinicals: outpatient, inpatient, and home health or an elective. This is Katie’s first full time clinical, and she said that she ”loves the people that work at Back in Motion, and it is a great environment to learn in.” She also mentioned how much she likes the one-on-one time that each patient gets with the PT.

Back in Motion is proud to be able to supervise and teach Katie as she pursues a career in Physical Therapy and we wish her the best of luck!
